Support Our School

"THE CLIMBER ROOM"
drawn by a Bethesda Student

Students visit the climber room several times
each day where they climb, slide, create their
own plays, and dance.  Each fall, the climber
room is transformed into a grocery store
where students can both stock and shop
for their favorite foods.

Bethesda students act out a scene from
"Caps for Sale" in the Climber Room.

WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT

Bethesda Nursery School is now in its fiftieth year of providing a nurturing and enriching early childhood education to children in the Greater New Haven area.  The cost of operating our program is not covered by tuition alone.  Fundraising and donations are essential to maintain our quality and to continue our long-standing tradition of financial aid to eligible families.

In June 2009, our dear friend and mentor, Mary Ann Bonenberger, retired as director of Bethesda Nursery School after 30 years of devotion to children and dedication to our school.  In celebration of her career—and her creation of the school that we are today—a special fund has been established in her honor at the Community Foundation for Greater New Haven to support financial aid to Bethesda students.

We invite you to support our school by making a direct contribution to Bethesda Nursery School or by contributing to the Mary Ann Bonenberger Fund.

To contribute directly to Bethesda Nursery School, please call us at (230) 787-5439 or mail a check made payable to Bethesda Nursery School to 305 St. Ronan Street, New Haven, CT  06511.
